Our athletes

Alex is a passionate athlete from Menorca, in the Balearic Islands. His speciality: long mountain races. He has also decided to make his everyday life a playground by settling near the Catalan mountains. A mountain enthusiast and coach, he aspires to grow within the world that drives his passion: mountain racing.

Why do you feel you belong to the Cimalp family?

I'm grateful to be part of Team Cimalp and I'm really happy with the relationship between the athlete and the brand.

Your best and worst memory in the mountains, and why?

"I've had some great moments this year with the strong results I achieved across different races, especially at Val d'Aran. The worst, aside from race DNFs, was a day I headed into the mountains at Baga (Comabona) and we nearly froze to death..."

What do the mountains inspire in you?

Nature and a sense of freedom.

What is your relationship with the environment and ecology?

I live in the mountains, so I have a deep respect for the environment.

Another great passion / talent beyond sport?

I love video games (Assassin's Creed, Red Dead Redemption...).
