A former elite cross-country skiing athlete, Baptiste discovered running and trail during his summer training phases. He gradually developed a taste for wide open spaces, speed, closeness to nature and the intensity this sport delivers — sensations very close to those of cross-country skiing.
In 2020, when he stepped back from elite cross-country skiing, he decided to fully commit to trail. Whatever the weather conditions or terrain, Baptiste knows he can count on Cimalp's support and guidance in his progression.
Alongside this, he works full-time as a Civil and Hydraulic Engineering engineer, specialising in dams. Hyperactive by nature, he proudly lives in the Vercors massif — a playground that gives him plenty of opportunities to let off steam!
