Why do you feel you belong to the Cimalp family?
Because Cimalp represents, for me, the values of Family with a capital F — one hundred per cent. Within this tight-knit family, I also have the privilege of contributing to the development of Cimalp's mountaineering products, and that's something special!
Your best and worst memory in the mountains — and why?
I could mention a great mountain route shared with a friend, or an incredible flight above the summits — but to be honest, my best and worst mountain memories come from my day-to-day life as a high-altitude mountain rescue worker. Fortunately, the best ones always outweigh the rest and keep us moving forward!
What do the mountains inspire in you?
The mountains draw me in with their vastness and the raw power they radiate...
What is your relationship with the environment and ecology?
Living at the foot of the (last?) glaciers, I feel the weight of environmental issues more than ever. I try, through small everyday gestures, to limit my impact on the natural world.
Another great passion or talent beyond sport?
Music, and more specifically the guitar.
