Originally from a village nestled in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees, Hubert was surrounded by nature from an early age. It was as a teenager that he first discovered climbing and canyoning.
A passionate mountain sports enthusiast, he holds both his State Diploma (DE) as a Mountain Leader and his Canyon Instructor qualification.
Today, mountaineering is a core part of Hubert's life. He dedicates himself primarily to alpine routes — as varied as they are demanding — alongside his climbing partner Kilian Moni, also a member of the Cimalp team. A career soldier, Hubert also practises skiing and cycling/mountain biking.

- Winter ascent of the North Face of Vignemale via mixed climbing.
- Double ascent of the Pic du Midi d'Ossau via its dihedrals and crack systems, trad climbing.
- Stay in the Mont-Rebei Canyon in Catalonia to climb trad routes.
