A former PhD engineer in Materials Science, Maryline left her career to devote herself entirely to her passion for trail-running. Today she works as a running coach and lives in her converted van. She has been racing for several years, specialising in long distances, though she enjoys mixing up terrain types and taking on new challenges — sometimes over shorter distances too.
Her biggest flaw: she doesn't know how to rest, which her coach doesn't always appreciate. When she's not running, she goes trekking, multi-day cycling trips, or ski touring in winter.
Her motto: enjoy every moment above all else!
