The item is exactly as described. The 'short' model is a great idea for me, being short and curvy (161 cm, French size 46). I bought it for hiking in September in the mid-mountain Alps, for a multi-day trek. For future reference, I live in Provence, and it might be a bit too warm for spring or autumn hikes here (hiking is practically impossible in the summer).
